605 Fairways Flexible Chicago Points Based Golf League
Each team needs to play the scheduled 18 hole round any time from Monday-Sunday of the set week.
The course played each week will be set on the schedule.
At the end of your round your scorecard is to be emailed to 605fairways@gmail.com
Weekly Skins/Pin Prizes
Top 4 teams at the end of the 8 weeks will play 2 additional weeks for a chance to win the league (Hopefully can be scheduled to have all 4 teams play at the same time).
Chicago Points
Albatross – 10 points
Eagle – 8 points
Birdie – 4 points
Par – 2 points
Bogey – 1 point
Double Bogey or Worse – 0 points
Each player on the team needs to score 36 points minus their established handicap to score positive. The goal is to score positive points. Each team member’s points will be added together for the total team points for the week.
Example:
Golfer | Base Points | Handicap | Quota | Points Scored | +/- |
Player A | 36 | 7 | 29 | 32 | +3 |
Player B | 36 | 3 | 33 | 35 | +2 |
Weekly Totals | 72 | 10 | 62 | 67 | +5 |
Handicaps will be established after Week 2 and will be adjusted weekly after that based on score (not points). The max score used to calculate handicap is a net double bogey (eliminates players trying to sandbag if they are not going to score on a hole).
Leaderboard will be live after Week 2.
